In the fields of security surveillance, autonomous driving and smart consumer electronics, camera lens materials need two core functions: high infrared transmittance for night vision imaging and strong visible light shielding to reduce ambient light interference. To meet this demand, the infrared-transparent PC (polycarbonate) material produced by Qingdao Zhongxin Huamei has become a core choice for high-end optical components. The following introduces its performance advantages.

This infrared-transparent PC material has excellent transmittance in the 700nm-2000nm infrared band, reaching up to 93% at 940nm. It also has high visible light shielding, with a deep black appearance and visible light transmittance below 5%, effectively avoiding stray light interference. In addition, it can customize the transmittance of specific R, G, B wavelengths to meet the needs of LiDAR, AR/VR and other scenarios.

Widely used in security surveillance dome camera housings, vehicle-mounted infrared camera casings, machine vision protective lenses and military law enforcement equipment, it ensures low-light imaging clarity and improves image signal-to-noise ratio, serving as an ideal optical solution.

Founded in May 1997, Qingdao Zhongxin Huamei specializes in customized modified and colored plastic pellets with 30 years of experience.
